Title: Sr. Director, Product Management Location: United States Job Description: Job Overview The Sr. Director, Product Management is responsible for defining and executing the strategy for a complex global product portfolio while leading a team of product managers across multiple regions. This role owns the full product lifecycle, from market strategy and roadmap development through commercialization and portfolio optimization, with accountability for profitable growth, innovation, and business performance. Working with an entrepreneurial, general manager mindset, this leader develops product strategies, business plans, and go-to-market approaches that align with customer needs, market trends, and business objectives. The role partners closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and executive leadership to drive new product development, ensure manufacturing readiness, and deliver sustained revenue and margin growth. The Sr. Director will also identify and lead inorganic growth and strategic partnership opportunities while fostering a high-performing global product management organization. Key Responsibilites: - Develop and execute the global product portfolio strategy, product roadmap, and long-term business plans aligned with company objectives. - Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and define differentiated value propositions. - Lead market segmentation, competitive benchmarking, pricing strategy, and go-to-market planning, including channel and partnership strategies. - Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, including new product development, commercialization, launch planning, and ongoing portfolio optimization. - Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and R&D to align technology, manufacturing capabilities, and commercial strategies. - Develop annual operating plans, including sales, margin, and resource planning, while ensuring alignment with financial objectives. - Build compelling business cases for new products and investments, including financial return analysis and growth opportunities. - Own portfolio financial performance, including P&L management, revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, and resolution of performance gaps. - Engage directly with customers to understand evolving requirements, support strategic business opportunities, and ensure product strategies align with market demands. - Enable commercial success through product training, value proposition development, marketing collateral, and sales support. - Champion resolution of product-related issues involving quality, delivery, pricing, and customer satisfaction. - Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships and inorganic growth opportunities that strengthen the portfolio. - Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global team of product managers while fostering collaboration across diverse cultures and regions.
