Job Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience providing remote IT support to business customers
- Experience supporting Microsoft-based business environments
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Experience working within a structured support or service desk environment
- A methodical and security-conscious approach to technical support
- Technical Knowledge
- You should have practical experience with:
- Microsoft 365, including Teams and core Office applications
- SharePoint Online and OneDrive
- Exchange Online administration and email troubleshooting
- Microsoft Entra ID user administration, including awareness of hybrid identity environments
- Windows 11 endpoint support
- Experience supporting Apple operating systems
- Apple iPhone and Android device support
- Basic Windows Server administration, patching and monitoring
- Networking fundamentals including LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, DNS, routing, switching and firewall troubleshooting
- Backup and recovery concepts and best practice
- Modern cyber security principles and secure operational processes
- Desirable Skills and Experience
- The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
- Previous experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
- Microsoft certifications beyond MS-900 and AZ-900
- Experience with Acronis products
- Familiarity with Google Workspace
- Knowledge of UK data protection and compliance requirements
