Title: UX/UI Designer (LATAM) Location: New York, NY Job Description: Product Designer (LATAM - Remote) About Rapptr Labs Rapptr Labs is a product development agency specializing in mobile and web applications for startups and established brands. We work on diverse projects spanning consumer apps, B2B platforms, and enterprise solutions—building everything from early-stage MVPs to scaled products serving thousands of users. The Role We’re looking for a talented product designer based in Latin America to join our team. You’ll work directly with our US-based team and clients to design intuitive, beautiful experiences across iOS, Android, and web platforms. This is a full-time contract position with the potential to grow into a leadership role as our design practice expands. What You’ll Do - Design user interfaces for mobile apps (iOS/Android) and web applications - Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma - Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately - Participate in client presentations and feedback sessions - Contribute to design systems and component libraries - Work across multiple client projects simultaneously Requirements - 5+ years of product design experience, preferably in an agency environment - Strong portfolio demonstrating mobile app and web design work - Expert-level proficiency in Figma - Experience designing for both iOS and Android platforms - Understanding of responsive design principles - Fluent English (written and verbal) - you’ll be communicating directly with US clients - Based in Latin America (GMT-3 to GMT-6 time zones preferred) - Available for overlapping work hours with US Eastern Time Nice to Have - Experience with design systems and component libraries - Familiarity with React Native or Flutter constraints - Motion/animation design skills - Experience with user research and testing - Previous agency or consulting experience What We Offer - Competitive USD-based compensation - Fully remote - work from anywhere in LATAM - Exposure to diverse projects and industries - Direct collaboration with experienced engineers and PMs - Opportunity to work with US-based startups and brands - Flexible schedule with core collaboration hours

You’ll play a key role in translating user needs and business requirements into clear, usable designs that development teams can effectively implement. Working across end-to-end user journeys, you’ll define and guide the creation of prototypes and user-centred design artefacts that uncover user motivations, behaviours, and service interactions. At Zaizi, a UX/UI Designer works within a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for planning, leading, and coordinating user-centred design efforts. You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Developers, Testers, and other Designers to ensure design outputs are clearly communicated and effectively shape ongoing development.
