Role Description The Strategic Marketing Specialist supports the marketing and sales activities of commercial, industrial, and utility products in ELIP for the US market, tasked with setting and profitably achieving key targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. In this role you will be a key contributor in defining and implementing sales and marketing initiatives in line with strategy, while proactively partnering and influencing the marketing and sales team and key stakeholders. Candidates for this position are capable of working remotely if already located in the US (#LI-Remote). Your Responsibilities: - Generating demand in the market to create growth in line with strategy, and providing input to strategy. - Ensuring targets such as margins, cash flow and Net Promoter Score are achieved through oversight and specifying improvement actions. - Implementing a customer-focused attitude, raising awareness of market opportunities, and ensuring appropriate action is taken. - Building and maintaining relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and developing new customers to generate growth. - Strengthening customers’ perception of a division that is easy to do business with and being the voice of the customer internally. - Identifying opportunities to drive marketing and sales in the domestic market, including product launches. - Driving sales efficiency and effectiveness, and ensuring balanced growth through all product lines, product groups and business areas. - Ensuring that agreed service levels are maintained through efficient business and support functions in back-end sales, as well as shared platforms. Qualifications - A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related technical field (engineering, statistics, etc.). - 8+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing with relevant knowledge and experience with engineered products for professional applications. - Sound knowledge of marketing methods and strategies (product literature, advertising, market research, voice of customer, etc.) to drive demand in commercial and industrial markets. - Experience creating, implementing, and measuring digital marketing campaigns, including tracking and analytics. - A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills. - Candidates must already possess authorization to work for ABB in the US.
