The Senior Account Manager role is a key player in our team and will be the main contact for the client, other agencies, and internally within Merkle. The Senior Account Manager will maintain client satisfaction by ensuring exceptional service and creating value for clients leveraging strong account management and interpersonal skills. The Senior Account Manager is ultimately responsible for the day-to-day execution of our clients' marketing strategies. This role requires partnership with the various client stakeholders and Merkle stakeholders, acting as a liaison between the teams to execute flawlessly and meet business goals. By ensuring marketing and support activities are executed in a timely and efficient manner, the Senior Account Manager directly impacts the success of our clients as well as Merkle. Key Responsibilities: - Support or act as the primary contact for day-to-day delivery team and client - Responsible for building strong relationships with key client stakeholders and other teams to ensure campaign schedules and processes are clear and adhered to - Run internal and external client meetings; responsible for daily communication with key internal and external contacts - Ensure timeliness and quality of client deliverables - Continuously observe and identity areas to improve existing processes - Bring leadership, guidance and operational efficiencies to the delivery team - View of bigger picture and disseminating information to the appropriate parties for execution - Apply critical thinking skills to identify and mitigate potential delivery risks - Remain extremely focused on detail while managing multiple email campaigns simultaneously through Braze. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree required - 6+ years related agency experience, specifically within digital marketing or marketing operations - Must have experience with Braze - Excellent, proven organizational skills, including strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously - Experience with client-facing responsibilities and with giving client presentations - Knowledge of contracts and managing a SOW, along with scope creation and management - Ability to leverage business experience / acumen to identify new business and marketing opportunities - Strong listening and superior relationship building skills - Experience leading teams is a plus At dentsu, we believe great work happens when we’re connected. Many of our employees who live within commuting distance (90 minutes) from one of our Headquarter or Hub Offices (New York, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles) are required to work in the office 2-3 days per week including one Team Day. The minimum number of days may vary by office and role. Dentsu may designate other HQ or Hub offices at any time. Those who do not live near an office may be designated as a remote employee, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect you to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office from time to time. The annual salary range for this position is $68,000 - $110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
