Job Description
Reservations Coordinator
Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort - Certified Carbon Neutral
• Work remotely while providing world-class service to guests and travel partners • Follow a five-day work week with rotating weekend coverage • Be available to work according to Aruba Standard Time (AST) • Maintain a reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace • Collaborate daily with our Reservations team while enjoying the flexibility of remote work • Assisting guests and travel partners with reservations, packages, add-ons, and special requests • Providing warm, professional, and timely communication via email and other approved channels • Delivering personalized service while identifying opportunities to enhance each guest's stay • Processing new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and guest requests accurately • Maintaining complete and accurate reservation records within our Property Management System • Collaborating closely with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Accounting, and other departments • Supporting travel agents, tour operators, online travel agencies, and contracted partners • Monitoring reservation inboxes and responding within established service standards • Maintaining exceptional attention to detail while handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Upholding Bucuti & Tara's brand standards, confidentiality requirements, and commitment to exceptional hospitality
Job Requirements
- Hospitality education and/or minimum of two years of experience in hospitality, reservations, customer service, or a related field
- Previous hotel reservations experience strongly preferred
- Experience with a Property Management System (Opera experience is an advantage)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Additional languages such as Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, or Papiamento are an asset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to convert inquiries into reservations when appropriate
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a professional home office environment
