Role Description onPhase is a leading provider of accounting and finance process automation software specializing in Accounts Payable automation. As we scale, we're building a team that combines deep technical skills with exceptional client delivery — and this role is at the heart of that. This is not a typical implementation role. The Technical Implementations Associate is a hands-on, technically fluent position requiring strong SQL skills, the ability to work with stored procedures, and a solid understanding of SaaS platforms and data-driven configurations. You'll work directly with clients to deliver successful onPhase implementations — translating complex business requirements into technical solutions while keeping projects on time, on scope, and on budget. If you're a technically strong problem-solver who thrives in client-facing environments and knows how to manage competing priorities, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities - Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to support data mapping, configuration, validation, and troubleshooting across client implementations. - Lead end-to-end client implementations with a focus on technical accuracy, AP workflow optimization, and payments process best practices. - Translate business and accounting requirements into effective onPhase solutions, engaging directly with end-users and stakeholders to drive adoption and alignment. - Provide clear guidance on system configuration, integrations, and data management to ensure quality outcomes and minimize go-live risk. - Implement change orders and enhancements for existing customers, ensuring smooth transitions and thorough validation. - Partner cross-functionally with Product, Support, and Technical Services to continuously improve delivery quality and solution design. - Maintain accountability for time-to-implement, go-live success rates, and customer satisfaction metrics. Qualifications - Proficiency in SQL — you're comfortable writing queries, joins, and stored procedures independently, not just reading them. - SaaS platform experience — you understand how cloud-based software is configured, integrated, and delivered. - Exceptional time management and organizational skills — you can juggle multiple active implementations, meet deadlines, and keep every detail accounted for. - Strong communication skills — clear and confident with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, including executive audiences. - Technical aptitude with system configuration, data management, and integrations. - Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strong problem-solving instincts. Requirements - Prior software implementation experience (ERP, AP/payments, or accounting systems). - Understanding of accounts payable workflows, invoice coding/approval, and payments execution (ACH, check, vCard, etc.). - Familiarity with navigating a server OS environment. - Familiarity with ERP integrations and AP best practices. - Experience with Dealership Management Systems (DMS). - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
