Role Description Are you a talented legal content writer with a keen eye for detail, strong legal research skills, and a passion for accuracy, clarity, and creating high-performing content from complex topics? We're looking for a skilled writer with experience in keyword research who can craft content that informs, drives traffic, and converts. This role is ideal for writers who are curious, analytical, and eager to learn—people who enjoy the challenge of untangling a difficult topic and transforming it into something others can easily understand. - Be proficient in our SEO and editorial guidelines: - Quickly learn and apply our SEO best practices, editorial processes, and brand voice of our clients to create cohesive and compelling content. - Nerd out on research: - Perform legal research (i.e., legal statutes, case law, and trial developments) to create quality articles for clients. - The best candidate will not just grin and bear it through researching, but will actually thrive in this part of content creation. - Deeply understand our clients: - Develop a deep understanding of each client's value proposition, brand voice, and content guidelines through in-depth research. - Write and optimize content: - Create new content and update existing pages, focusing on creating content that completely fulfills the user's intent and leads the user into the conversion funnel. - Edit and proofread: - Review and edit written content for clarity, coherence, factual accuracy, and grammatical correctness and ensure content follows all brand and other guidelines. - Explain complex topics simply: - Our content aims to explain complicated legalese in a way that the average individual can understand. - Stay open to feedback: - Be coachable, flexible, and eager to refine your craft based on input from editors and legal experts. - Be willing to learn continuously: - SEO is constantly changing, which means we have to stay on top of readings and learnings as Google and LLMs change the game. - Be comfortable working with team members virtually: - The right fit will be able to work independently, but comfortable reaching out to internal team members for clarification and support when needed. Qualifications - Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or other related fields. - Experience as a legal content writer (at least 2 years) with a portfolio showcasing your writing, editing, and proofreading skills in this industry. - Familiarity with AP style. - Proven ability to create and optimize content for SEO and LLM retrieval, including keyword research, internal linking, audience targeting, and metadata refinement. - Strong attention to detail and research skills. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Experience working with legal content or in the legal field is an asset. Company Description Our client is a performance-focused digital marketing agency that helps law firms and other service-based businesses grow through data-driven acquisition strategies. The company specializes in SEO, paid media, video, and cross-channel digital campaigns designed to increase leads and scale client growth efficiently. With a strong emphasis on measurable results, it combines technical marketing expertise with analytics and CRM integrations to build systems that attract, convert, and retain clients.

Role Description Care Companion (part of Healios) is a digital platform that supports neurodivergent children and young people (ages 6–18) and their families. We are building a large library of accessible, neuro-affirmative content — guides, prompts, modules and courses — and we are looking for copywriters to help create it. You will turn clinically-reviewed material into clear, warm, age-appropriate resources, written for different audiences and ready to be built into interactive content. Key Responsibilities - Write content for different audiences — younger children (6–11), older children (12–15), young people (16–18) and parents or carers — pitching tone, vocabulary and pacing for each, in a warm, human house voice. - Apply a neuro-affirmative, strengths-based approach consistently, and write to the Care Companion brand and voice guidelines. - Produce content to accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA): plain language, meaningful alt text, and clear structure. - Storyboard resources for interactive delivery — including video and animation — to a standard a builder or producer can work from. - Work with clinical subject-matter experts to shape each resource, produce first drafts for clinical review, and make revisions. - Handle safety-sensitive topics with care, within agreed editorial guardrails, escalating clinical questions to the clinical lead and content or scope questions to the content manager. - Keep your work organised and version-controlled, and flag assumptions and open questions clearly. Qualifications - A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience. - Experience creating copy using neuroaffirmative language for neurodivergent children, young people and families. - Demonstrable copywriting for distinct audiences and reading levels, ideally including children, young people or families. - Able to hold a defined brand voice and write to a style guide. - Confident writing to accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA). - Comfortable storyboarding for interactive and multimedia delivery, and quick to learn a no-code authoring platform. - Works fluently within a review-and-sign-off process and version control. - Self-starting and autonomous - can take a brief and run with it without close supervision. - A genuine team player - collaborates well with colleagues and clinicians, and takes review well. - Organised and accountable - manages multiple versions and deadlines. Requirements - Lived or professional experience of neurodivergence; familiarity with neuro-affirmative language. - A script sensibility for short video or animation. - Experience in health, education or another regulated content environment. - Hands-on experience with Cogniss or a comparable no-code learning platform. Diversity and Inclusion “Do the right thing” is one of our core Healios values. And building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels supported is absolutely the right thing to do. Whether we’re developing a new service line or enhancing one of our products, we need people with different skills, backgrounds, identities and perspectives to ensure our innovations will work for the children and young people we are here to serve. By embracing diversity, we can deliver better care experiences and outcomes, while tackling the inequalities in healthcare provision that exist today. Safer Recruitment & Pre-Employment Checks Healios ensures that supporting people to be safe is at the heart of our work and a key priority across all areas of the organisation. We will do our absolute best to keep the people that we support safe from harm. This starts with our recruitment processes. As part of our pre-employment checks, all employees of Healios will be asked to have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Dependent on your role within the business, this will either be an Enhanced or Basic. A Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check will be required. You will also be asked to provide two professional references as a minimum.
