• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities. • Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs. • Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills. • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals in the classroom and other educational settings. • Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions to promote speech and language development. • Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes. • Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner. • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.

Role Description Our Therapy & Family Services team provide speech language pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, and teacher of the deaf services across a number of programs, including NDIS. We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to administer speech, language and listening assessments in accordance with Healthy Hearing Monitoring Guidelines in addition to providing speech pathology sessions for NDIS and Medicare clients with a hearing loss. In this role you will be providing support to children and their families from our clinics in Taigum and Sandgate (travel between offices is required). In addition to this we support your journey in learning Auslan via formal training and the ability to practice Auslan within a multi-disciplinary team.
