Executive General Adjuster
Sedgwick
• Investigate insurance major loss claims for insurers or third parties • Negotiate settlement of claims to the satisfaction of all parties • Conduct thorough investigations, interviewing and communicating with insured, claimants, and witnesses • Maintain accurate records and manage billing for assigned files • Assist with collection of accounts receivables and local marketing of the branch • Develop new business opportunities and maintain working relationships with clients
Job Requirements
- Post-secondary education; insurance related
- CIP Designation or equivalent
- Minimum 15 years adjusting experience with a minimum of three years adjusting primarily commercial losses
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Must be licensed or have the ability to obtain a provisional license

• This role is responsible for bringing expertise and a structured approach to pursuing strategic deals, building a robust funnel of opportunities, and driving those to closure in assigned region. • This requires building strategic relationships and selling horizontally. • Strategic solution executives must understand the customers environment well enough to connect GEHC’s capabilities to relevant and prioritized needs within the providers organization. • SSE’s will need to have outstanding experience in provoking clients to consider their options beyond traditional buying processes, in qualifying, aligning, and advising clients, and in working collaboratively internally to lead the shaping of strategies with clients. • Building a robust funnel of opportunities in strategic bulk buys and long term strategic partnerships with target customers. • Driving identified opportunities to closure with relevant market commercial teams. • Accountable to lead the market commercial team through the deal cycle ensure all necessary internal stakeholders are aligned. • Rapidly build relationship and credibility with account communities and customers • Demonstrating outstanding strategic selling skills and leading execution of outcomes selling strategies: Provocation, positioning our Point of View, Qualification, Advising, and aligning customers, negotiation, and contingency planning - working closely with the account communities • Working closely with the GM, Strategic Solutions to inform and support the shaping and piloting of new offerings • Mastery of new offerings structures, limitations, and flexibilities as the representative of new offerings within account communities when relevant • Expand sales expertise to be able to actively represent GEHC’s entire portfolio of solutions; Imaging, Ultrasound, Service, LCS, HEF, Digital PDx products & capabilities • Follow all applicable GE policies, procedures and operating mechanisms • Proactively participate in company initiatives depending on organizational needs and as directed by management • Ensure knowledge of and compliance with Quality, Regulatory, integrity and company policies
