• Providing system-level engineering support and expertise to a cross-functional team. • Providing preliminary solutions to engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity in an expeditious, efficient, and timely manner. • Researches, designs, implements, and tests technology solutions. • Troubleshoots software and/or hardware issues/failures. • Collects and presents data for reporting and planning. • Design, implement and maintain the organization's computer systems and networks, including servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure. • Manage and maintain the organization's security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security information and event management systems. • Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field and make recommendations for upgrades and improvements. • Support continuous improvement of systems engineering, user experience, and agile development processes. • Assess complex projects with a variety of requirements quickly, correctly prioritize tasks, provide accurate time estimates, and complete tasks in a timely manner while communicating changes and updates. • Functions as a technical expert for the implementation and operational support. • Troubleshoot workstation/server related problems and quickly resolve issues.

Job Requirements

  • Understanding of basic software development principles - configuration control, collaborative development, formal processes
  • Experience in reading and developing algorithm descriptions, mathematical expressions and derivations, matrix manipulations, outlier analysis, and system level analysis
  • Experience performing data analysis and problem solving (e.g. anomaly investigation)
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university and five (5) years' experience in the Systems Engineering field.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, MS Project, and Excel.

This role leads the implementation and ongoing advancement of Manufacturing Data Enablement (MDE) utilizing SafetyChain software, serving as the primary point of contact for system deployment, adoption, and performance across the organization. Responsibilities: - Lead implementation efforts for new plant manufacturing data enablement (MDE) technology utilizing SafetyChain software. - Coordinate implementation team, prepare plant forms, and identify key data for trending and reporting. - Conduct risk mitigation of system failure by reviewing maturity scorecards from each facility. - Provide support and direction to lagging plants to ensure full facility implementation across the enterprise. - Maintain a relationship with the MDE vendor to improve the MDE system and leverage its capabilities. - Assist with management and implementation of all QC related programs and systems enterprise-wide. - Create and maintain SOPs, training, and other documentation related to running QC technology systems. - Work closely with the Business Architect group for Supply Chain and IT on Quality Management System (QMS) projects. - Develop training and assist with implementation of new software solutions deployed through the Quality Management System Team. - Troubleshoot technology/user interface issues at plant sites by working with IT. - Test and validate data on the various systems the Quality Systems Team oversees. - Provide end user feedback on new system technology development. - Extensive travel required during the 2-year initial implementation phase of the project (60-70%). - Some travel required for development and training (30-40%) as needed after initial implementation.
