• Design, build, and maintain our core backend platform and services using Go. • Contribute directly to the open-source OpenTDF project, shaping its future and ensuring its success. • Tackle complex engineering challenges related to data security, scalability, and distributed systems in a multi-language environment. • Engineer and deploy solutions for complex enterprise and federal customer environments, including on-premise, air-gapped, and cloud-native deployments, using Terraform and GitOps tooling. • Collaborate on the architecture and implementation of our multi-language SDKs (Go, Java, JavaScript) to ensure they integrate seamlessly with the backend. • Mentor fellow engineers through constructive code reviews, pair programming, design discussions, and knowledge sharing. • Develop well-defined written design documents and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. • Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate development, maintain engineering standards, and scale your impact across the codebase.

• You partner with product managers, internal stakeholders, and other development and support teams to design new integrations, services, and solutions for scaling Beacon's data platform • You implement features with attention to detail, demonstrating product awareness and high standards for data integrity, design soundness, and maintainability across the lifespan of the system • You draft RFCs to lead complex feature discovery and technical design phases, soliciting and incorporating input, and helping your team align on a set of decisions to guide development • You leverage feedback from internal stakeholders and external partners to improve operational robustness and ease of use of the Datastore and its services via new documentation, tools, and dashboards

• Design, build, and operate the Indexer’s components in Rust — the chain indexer, the wallet indexer, the SPO indexer (Cardano partner-chain data), and the GraphQL API — keeping the architecture modular and maintainable. • Build and maintain the data pipeline that fetches blocks and transactions from the Midnight node via subxt, handling finalized-block tracking, gap backfilling, and continuous real-time indexing. • Design efficient schemas and queries across PostgreSQL (cloud) and SQLite (standalone), and keep latency and throughput healthy as the chain grows. • Evolve the GraphQL API — queries, mutations, and real-time subscriptions over WebSockets — with care for the wallet model: secure sessions and correct handling of shielded data. • Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; treat reliability and correctness as first-class concerns. • Own operational quality for the service: observability, containerised deployment (Docker), and incident response. • Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions, and collaborate closely with the node, ledger, wallet, and security teams — contributing to those components as you ramp up. • Keep current with developments in Rust and blockchain technology, and apply them to improve the platform.
