Role Description We're looking for a Senior Video Editor to join a brand-new, dedicated creative team supporting a global enterprise B2B technology client. In this role, you'll help define the editing standards, workflows, and quality processes for a high-volume video program while producing polished, platform-ready content across multiple campaigns. You'll partner closely with the Director of Digital Production, Art Director, Motion Designers, and cross-functional teams to create engaging video content while mentoring editors and helping shape the team's post-production foundation. - Set the Creative Standard: Edit premium video content with exceptional pacing, storytelling, shot selection, and structure that establishes the quality bar across the team. - Build Editing Systems That Scale: Develop project templates, file structures, naming conventions, handoff processes, and quality control standards that enable efficient, reliable post-production at scale. - Lead Through Craft: Provide guidance, creative feedback, and mentorship to fellow editors, helping elevate storytelling, technical execution, and consistency across every deliverable. - Deliver Platform-Ready Content: Own technical quality across every project, ensuring assets meet platform specifications, delivery requirements, and client standards for a wide range of digital channels. - Collaborate Across Creative Teams: Partner with the Art Director, Motion Designers, Copywriters, Creative Strategists, and Project Managers to transform briefs into compelling video experiences. - Optimize Creative Workflows: Leverage AI-assisted editing tools, templated workflows, and efficient media management practices to streamline production while maintaining exceptional creative quality. - Champion Operational Excellence: Help build scalable post-production processes that improve collaboration, strengthen quality assurance, and enable the team to deliver consistently across a high-volume content program. Qualifications - 5+ years of professional video editing experience with a portfolio or demo reel showcasing polished, platform-native work. - Advanced expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and working proficiency in Adobe After Effects. - Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, shot selection, audio mixing, color correction, and post-production best practices. - Experience building editing workflows, templates, project organization systems, and quality assurance processes for high-volume creative production. - Experience mentoring editors or leading creative reviews within collaborative production teams. - Deep knowledge of video delivery specifications, codecs, aspect ratios, file management, and platform requirements. - Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. - Experience leveraging AI-powered editing tools and emerging technologies to improve creative workflows and production efficiency.
