Financial Systems Data Analyst, D365, Power BI
Ascella Technologies, Inc.
• Help modernize how the federal government converts complex financial data into meaningful insights • Ensure a federal agency has the transparency and reporting accuracy needed to meet internal standards • Design and deploy sophisticated Power BI dashboards that transform raw financial data into clear, actionable intelligence for decision-makers • Develop automated reconciliation models using Power BI and D365 data to identify and resolve discrepancies • Leverage the Power Platform to streamline data collection and automate manual reporting tasks • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex accounting requirements into intuitive Dataverse-backed solutions and visualizations
Job Requirements
- US Citizenship (no dual citizenship)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Extensive experience building complex dashboards and performing financial data reconciliation with Power BI
- Hands-on experience navigating and extracting data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance environments
- Strong proficiency in leveraging Dataverse as a data source and using Power Apps/Power Automate for solution enhancement.
- Experience with federal financial management standards or government accounting principles (preferred)
- Microsoft Certifications (e.g., PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst or MB-300 Core Financials) (preferred)
- Experience with SQL or DAX for advanced data modeling and transformation (preferred)
