Job Description

Business Development Manager

Emerson

• Generating sales through undertaking site surveys and providing technical advice to both existing and potential customers. • Supporting sales through the effective provision of sales data, including the weekly recording of visit and action reports. Following up on all sales-leads, distributor performance and offers. • Developing sales with hands-on demonstrations, trade shows and roadshow (Demo Van) events to achieve targets. • Maintaining the relations with existing local dealers & end-users in the targeted segments. • Training the sales staff in distributors as well as end-user customers. • Using customer and prospect contact activities, tools and systems and update relevant information related to these systems. • Visiting key account customers like construction companies, municipalities, contractors, etc. • Classifying the product range according to related potential customers & distributors.

Job Requirements

  • Proven previous experience in a similar role (electrical industry, panel building, utility, renewable)
  • Technical understanding of machines, new technologies and tools.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and fluent in Danish/Swedish.
  • Proficiency in English language (verbal and written)
  • Good presentation skill and capable of establishing good relations with customers in different levels
  • Willingness to work home office
