• Edit and deliver high-quality long-form YouTube videos and multicam podcast content, ensuring strong pacing, story flow, visual continuity, audience retention, and overall watchability. • Manage end-to-end podcast editing workflows, including three-camera setups, picture and audio syncing, camera selection, timeline management, and final output preparation. • Create engaging social media cutdowns from long-form content, including highlights, captioned clips, short-form videos, and platform-ready assets. • Perform post-production enhancements including audio clean-up and balancing, motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, captions, transitions, and branded visual elements as required. • Prepare, export, and optimise content for YouTube, podcast video, social media, and other distribution channels while maintaining consistent quality and brand standards. • Organise and manage footage, project files, audio assets, graphics, templates, captions, exports, and editing resources while adhering to established workflows, file structures, naming conventions, and deadlines. • Collaborate with editorial, content, production, and creative teams to interpret briefs, incorporate feedback, identify workflow improvements, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Multimedia, Digital Media, Communications, Creative Production, or a related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in video editing, multimedia editing, podcast production, YouTube content editing, or a comparable post-production role.
- Proven expertise in editing long-form YouTube content, multicam podcast videos, and creating high-performing social media cutdowns from long-form source material.
- Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work, including long-form YouTube videos, podcast or multicam productions, and short-form social media content.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar professional editing software, with strong knowledge of multicam workflows, footage organisation, audio syncing, and timeline management.
- Demonstrated ability to perform audio clean-up, levelling, captioning, motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, and branded visual enhancements while maintaining high editorial standards.
- Excellent editorial judgement, attention to detail, communication, file management, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced production environment.
