Data Analyst I

Capgemini

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that support Finance and Business Insurance initiatives • Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions • Build data models and develop DAX measures to deliver scalable, user-friendly dashboards • Extract, clean, validate, and transform data from multiple sources using SQL, Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools • Develop automated reporting solutions using Excel macros, VBA, Python, or similar technologies • Perform data quality analysis, identify inconsistencies, and implement corrective actions to ensure reporting accuracy • Support financial planning, trend analysis, capital expense reporting, and business performance monitoring • Build dynamic reporting models to support agent segmentation, promotions, profitability analysis, and strategic growth initiatives • Collaborate with business and implementation teams to validate results and monitor post-launch performance • Support system enhancements, testing activities, and reporting infrastructure improvements • Clearly communicate technical findings and business insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Continuously improve reporting processes, dashboard usability, and data visualization standards

Job Requirements

  • Years of experience in business intelligence, financial reporting, data analytics, or a related field
  • Strong experience developing dashboards using **Power BI**, including DAX and data modeling
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, macros, data modeling, and complex formulas
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to write queries from scratch and manipulate large datasets
  • Experience working with ODBC data connections, relational databases, and data warehouses
  • Experience with VBA, Python, or other automation tools is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience validating data quality and troubleshooting reporting issues
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to business stakeholders
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Insurance or financial services experience is a plus
