Role Description We are seeking a Senior Program Manager, Strategy to lead execution of Cleerly’s highest-priority growth initiatives, partnerships, and commercialization efforts. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, partnering across Commercial, Product, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to bring new programs to life. This is not a traditional project management role. We are looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complex and undefined problems, and builds the strategy, operating model, and execution rigor needed to move programs forward. Success requires strong program management instincts, analytical thinking, financial acumen, executive communication, and an ownership-driven mindset. Comfort engaging with clinical stakeholders and workflows is a plus, but the core of the role is strategic program management: translating complexity into clear plans, driving multiple workstreams, and ensuring initiatives meet operational, adoption, and financial goals. Responsibilities - Lead execution of high-priority strategic initiatives and partnerships, often starting from an undefined problem. - Design new programs from first principles — strategy, milestones, financial impact — not just manage ones that already exist. - Drive cross-functional alignment across Commercial, Product, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance. - Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including clinical and provider audiences where relevant. - Proactively surface risks and dependencies, including clinical or workflow-related ones, and develop solutions before being asked. - Build governance structures, implementation frameworks, and project plans that scale. - Drive accountability across teams to hit commitments and timelines. - Analyze performance data to generate insights and inform decisions. - Develop executive-level reporting, KPIs, and financial analyses for leadership. - Evaluate program performance through ROI and cost-benefit analysis; recommend meaningful success metrics, including clinical/quality endpoints where applicable. - Participate in strategic planning and identify new growth opportunities. Qualifications - A proactive, solutions-driven self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what to do — who anticipates needs, brings recommendations, and owns progress when the path forward isn't always clear. - Strong operational instincts, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution. - Loves strategic development — figuring out what a program should be, not just running it. - Treats ambiguity as a feature of the work, not an obstacle. - Is naturally solutions-oriented: sees a problem, proposes a fix. - Can credibly engage clinical stakeholders and translate clinical nuance into commercial/operational strategy — a strong plus, not a requirement. Requirements - 7+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years managing complex, large-scale, cross-functional projects or programs — ideally including experience building new programs or initiatives from the ground up, not just running established ones. - Demonstrated experience operating with significant autonomy and ambiguity, with a track record of bringing structure and strategy to undefined problems. - Bachelor's degree required. - Proven ability to communicate and build credibility with Senior Leadership; excellent written and oral communication skills. - Exceptional interpersonal skills and understanding of group dynamics. - Successful track record of establishing credibility and trust with a diverse, high caliber group. - Strong analytical, critical thinking, creative problem solving, judgment, and negotiating skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy. - Energy and enthusiasm consistent with working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. - Strong organizational skills; ability to remain organized and productive in a fast-paced work environment with competing priorities. Benefits - The base salary range for this role varies by location and is aligned to market benchmarks. - This role is eligible for a 15% target annual bonus. - Base Salary: $145,000 - $165,000 - Total Target Compensation (TTC): $166,750 - $189,750 - Additionally, stock options, paid benefits, and employee perks are part of your total rewards. Company Description We’re Cleerly – a healthcare company that’s revolutionizing how heart disease is diagnosed, treated, and tracked. We were founded in 2017 by one of the world’s leading cardiologists and are a growing team of world-class engineering, operations, medical affairs, marketing, and sales leaders. Cleerly has created a new standard of care for heart disease through value-based, AI-driven precision diagnostic solutions with the goal of helping prevent heart attacks. While we are mostly a remote company, travel is required for some team meetings and cross-function projects typically once per month or once per quarter.
