Senior Sales Engineer – Treatment Aquatics
Xylem
• Develop and execute the sales strategy for Aquatics Treatment solutions across Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. • Identify and win new business opportunities within the public swimming pool sector. • Build trusted relationships with municipalities, consulting engineers, contractors, and pool operators. • Promote Xylem's portfolio of filtration, disinfection, monitoring, and control solutions. • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and commercial offers. • Lead contract negotiations and successfully close sales opportunities. • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. • Represent Xylem at customer meetings, industry events, and exhibitions. • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts through our CRM system.
Job Requirements
- A degree in Engineering, Environmental Technology, Water Technology, or a related technical field.
- Several years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or business development.
- Experience within water treatment, pumps, filtration, or aquatics solutions.
- Experience working with municipalities or public infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to developing new business.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Fluency in Swedish and English.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% across the Nordic region.
