Java Software Engineer
Peraton Corporation
• Assist in developing and maintaining Java-based components within the modernization framework. • Support refactoring efforts for legacy components under senior developer guidance. • Participate in implementing APIs, integrations, and backend services. • Write clean, maintainable code following defined coding standards. • Assist in documenting technical requirements, system behaviors, and application architecture updates. • Perform basic unit testing and assist with debugging activities. • Collaborate with mid-level and senior developers during design sessions and sprint ceremonies.
Job Requirements
- 0 years with BS/BA; 4 years of experience with HS Diploma/equivalent
- Able to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Must be a US Citizen
- Experience with AI development
- Cloud development experience preferred
- Must have experience developing Java EE applications on WebLogic Application Server
- High-level knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems
- Security+ Certification preferred
