Senior Backend Developer – PHP/Go

• Analyze requirements and develop software solutions based on requests received from the Product team, including improvements and bug fixes • Design, develop and implement robust, scalable, high-performance backend APIs and services • Collaborate with Product, Front-end and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions • Ensure the scalability, security, reliability and performance of backend applications • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the definition of new solutions and the evolution of existing systems • Perform code reviews and share knowledge with other developers • Ensure the quality of deliverables, including creating and maintaining automated tests • Provide technical support for production systems, assisting in the identification and resolution of issues • Support continuous improvement of development processes by proposing new technologies, methodologies and best practices • Keep technical documentation up to date and aligned with system changes • Configure development environments and support deployment and release processes • Stay up to date with industry trends and ensure the appropriate use of best practices and the latest technologies.
Job Requirements
- Solid experience in Backend development, working on high-availability and scalable systems
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as PHP, Go, Python, Java or Node.js
- Deep knowledge of developing and consuming REST APIs
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis
- Experience with version control systems, especially Git
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP or Azure
- Experience with automated testing, continuous integration and software engineering best practices
- Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- Solid knowledge of security, performance and observability best practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Intermediate or advanced English.
