Software Engineer III – Security
ExtraHop
• Analyze network data in order to simulate realistic cybersecurity scenarios. • Create network content to support security demo and test environments. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with customer needs and product goals. • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to enhance demo functionality and automation. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure a seamless and reliable demo experience.
Job Requirements
- Excellent engineering chops
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- Solid knowledge of Javascript and Python
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and Layer 7 protocols
- Experience developing solutions using cloud-native technologies
- Self-starter with a strong problem-solving track record and ability to grow and learn
- Excellent teammate and collaborator who can iterate on problems quickly.
- Proficient at communication in both spoken and written forms, including documentation.
