Mission Applications Deputy Group Lead The Team: The Mission Applications (MA) Group within the AC2 Division creates outsized mission impact with our customers through specialized application and deployment of STR technology. Staff within the MA group have a deep understanding of missions and technology needs for national security with skills targeting transition of technology to operational use, including product management, UX Product implementation, software integration & mission engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, and program management. MA staff combine with other science and engineering staff from the various STR research and development groups to form dedicated product teams focused on accelerating the operational transition of cutting-edge software technologies. The Role: We are seeking a Deputy Group Lead to support the Group’s leadership in managing operations, shaping strategy, and maintaining excellence across the portfolio. This role combines product expertise, program oversight, financial management, and team development. The ideal candidate brings experience across several of the following areas: product management, project and program leadership, business development, and deep mission expertise. You will work closely with the Group Lead to drive the MA team to success through the various aspects of managing a high performing team. Specifically, in this role, you will: - Lead business development efforts, cultivate customer relationships, and contribute to proposal and marketing activities - Support the financial management of a complex, interdependent portfolio of contracts and customers to ensure accurate billing for shared components across the portfolio. - Oversee program execution to ensure high-quality products are delivered to our customers, including reviews, briefings, profit management, and financial performance - Assist in refining and executing the Group’s strategic plan - Recruit, hire, develop, and mentor team members - Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, provide performance feedback, and approve internal indirect budgets - Collaborate with internal partners including Contracts, Finance, HR, IT, Facilities, and Security in addition to KEDS for their technical staff supporting MA owned programs This role will take advantage of STR’s flexible, hybrid environment – when the work does not require use of STR’s or the customer’s facilities, you are welcome to work remotely. Who You Are: - Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP program access - Minimum of 10 years of experience working within the Department of Defense (DoD), preferably in Joint mission planning and execution domains. - Deep familiarity with DoD missions and concepts of operations (CONOPs) - Proven experience leading and managing complex, advanced R&D and/or systems development/integration projects in Defense contexts - Track record of success in technical execution, business development, product management, and/or program management - Ability to work and collaborate in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment to enable successful project execution - Strong demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, collaborators and partners - Effective communicator to both technical and non-technical audiences, with strong mentoring and team-building skills Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: 240,000.00 to $275,000.00 The salary range listed is based on external market data. Role Description This role combines product and project management, with ownership of the end-to-end mobile application experience. You'll drive execution of the mobile development team's roadmap while ensuring that other product teams building webviews for the mobile app adhere to mobile UX standards and deliver a cohesive user experience. - Own the holistic mobile app experience, ensuring consistency and quality across native features and embedded webviews built by other teams. - Manage day-to-day execution of the mobile team's development backlog, including sprint planning, tracking, and delivery coordination. - Partner with the mobile engineering team to ensure features are delivered on time and meet quality standards. - Coordinate with other product teams to review and validate webview implementations, ensuring they meet mobile design and performance standards before release. - Serve as the mobile experience advocate across the organization, providing guidance to teams on mobile-specific requirements and constraints. - Review, validate, and prioritize mobile-specific defects, working them into sprints appropriately. - Produce clear documentation of planned features as epics and user stories for the mobile team. - Collaborate with engineers and QA to ensure functional and visual design quality throughout the development process. - Gather and synthesize user feedback, analytics, and testing results specific to the mobile experience. - Participate in customer and prospect demos as needed; support RFP responses related to mobile capabilities. - Collaborate with Design and Marketing on mobile-specific sales tools and collateral. Qualifications - 2+ years of experience in product management, project management, or a related role at a SaaS company. - Strong project management skills with experience coordinating across multiple teams. - Experience working in an Agile development environment; familiarity with Scrum practices. - Proficiency with JIRA or similar tools for backlog and sprint management. - Understanding of mobile application development processes (iOS/Android), including hybrid/webview architectures. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - Ability to work independently in a collaborative, remote team environment. - Customer-first mentality with genuine interest in solving user problems. - Experience in public safety, Govtech, or field-service software a plus. - Relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. • Own the local product experience across Binance products. • Optimise key user journeys, including onboarding, verification, deposits, trading, Earn, and other product funnels. • Configure local product content, banners, landing pages, user-facing assets, and market-specific product settings through internal tools. • Manage product localisation, translations, and language quality across all product touchpoints. • Identify friction points across the user journey and recommend product improvements based on user behaviour and market insights. • Build and maintain dashboards and tracking frameworks to monitor funnel health and product performance. • Analyse product data and user behaviour to identify optimisation opportunities. • Design and evaluate A/B tests together with Product teams to validate product improvements. • Collect feedback from local users and stakeholders and represent market needs to Global Product teams. • Support local rollout of new product features and ensure high-quality execution. • Monitor product KPIs and continuously improve user experience through data-driven recommendations.
