DevOps/Cloud Platform Engineer

Role Description As our DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer, you will operate, monitor, and maintain multiple Azure subscriptions and associated global applications. This is a true engineering + operations role: you’ll deliver project work (new builds and production changes) and also support incident tickets as part of the team. What you’ll work on (our team’s project examples): - Designing and maintaining Azure infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS) with automation-first practices - Cloud networking and secure-by-design infrastructure patterns (VNets, Private Link, NSGs, etc.) - Kubernetes-based delivery and operations (AKS) - CI/CD pipelines and automation for repeatable, reliable releases - Operational excellence: troubleshooting, runbooks, diagrams, and production support Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure using Terraform modules (IaaS and PaaS) for new projects and production updates. - Troubleshoot IaaS/PaaS issues raised via incident tickets and meet ticket closure SLAs. - Create and maintain environment documentation (diagrams, playbooks, runbooks, best practices) and drive knowledge sharing. - Communicate with internal partners and provide guidance on application and infrastructure design. - Automate repetitive development, operations, and deployment tasks; improve delivery reliability through CI/CD and engineering discipline. - Within the Linux-leaning role, take deeper ownership of Linux/Unix-focused DevOps workstreams (system administration, configuration, scripting, and platform troubleshooting). Qualifications - 3+ years of experience with Azure core services, including Resource Manager, VMs/Scale Sets, Storage - 3+ years of experience with Windows or Linux administration, with strong problem-solving ability. - 3+ years of experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). - 2+ years of experience with Terraform. - Experience configuring continuous integration using tools such as GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.
