Senior Technical Implementation Specialist

The Senior Technical Implementation Specialist will lead software deployment, assist customers through data evaluation and management, software configuration, calculations, and testing results, and help with customer data needs. This role includes a variety of data manipulation tasks and helping customers with any data-driven questions or concerns. Lead internal and external customer projects. Perform software deployment-related project tasks such as scoping, discovery, and implementation requirements gathering. Document and communicate technical concepts such as working with APIs, SQL queries, database tables, and interface data exchanges. Work with the software developers to communicate requirements and ensure the software delivery matches the requirements. Write and update documentation, including project plans, specifications, user guides, and test plans. Lead the development, configuration, and testing of our software system. Train teams on product use, best practices, and long-term maintenance. Lead Junior and Mid-Level Business Analysts. Perform other duties, as assigned.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s or other advanced degree in computer science or engineering, business administration, accounting, finance, or a similar field of study is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical implementation, solution delivery, or systems integration.
- Project management discipline and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills.
- Must be able to solve problems and demonstrate quantitative skills quickly.
- Must be comfortable exercising independent judgment in carrying out their job responsibilities and be able to oversee the job duties and responsibilities of business analysts.
- Ability to write SQL queries.
- Knowledge of North American ISO/RTO markets.
- Experience with the deployment of bid-to-bill software solutions.
- Experience with counterparty counteract billing for ISO/RTO market participants.
- Demonstrated ability to document customer detailed needs and requirements and to map solutions, features, and test cases to support those needs and requirements.
