• Lead delivery of engineering initiatives supporting BJAK’s UK market expansion. • Translate UK business, regulatory and operational requirements into scalable system designs. • Design backend systems and platform capabilities for new insurance products and workflows. • Build and extend core services to support multi-region, multi-market platform operations. • Define system architecture for integrations with insurers, partners and external APIs in the UK ecosystem. • Ensure platform readiness for compliance, data handling and operational requirements in a new market. • Review architecture and implementation quality to ensure scalability, correctness and reliability. • Work closely with product, operations, QA and DevOps to deliver end-to-end UK expansion initiatives. • Improve system stability through monitoring, incident response, debugging and root cause analysis. • Ensure safe, reliable and controlled production releases for expansion-related systems.

• Contribute directly to codebases across Vue 3, Nuxt, Module Federation, Node.js / NestJS services, and supporting infrastructure • Lead architectural discussions and help teams make informed technical decisions • Work with infra/SRE teams to ensure systems meet global scale requirements • Build impactful product features, performance improvements, and internal tooling • Debug complex production issues across distributed microservices and CDN layers • Manage and mentor developers across Builder squads including performance management, career growth, and technical guidance • Lead sprint planning, execution tracking, and reporting

• Design, build, and operate highly scalable platform services that improve the reliability and performance of the CRE platform. • Lead the development of production-grade backend services and APIs that support multiple internal stakeholders and platform consumers. • Drive architectural improvements that enable both vertical and horizontal platform scaling. • Improve workflow execution durability and platform resilience through thoughtful engineering, rigorous testing, and operational excellence. • Partner with engineering teams across the organization to deliver cross-functional platform initiatives from architectural design through production deployment. • Strengthen platform ownership by reducing operational silos, improving documentation, and increasing shared knowledge across the engineering organization. • Contribute to improving platform reliability through engineering practices aligned with service reliability objectives and measurable operational outcomes.

• Owning the design and evolution of the architecture for a strategically critical product area, making the calls that shape scalability, security, and maintainability for years • Leading transformational architecture work: real-time matching at scale, resilient event-driven services, and the CI/CD and observability foundations that make them dependable • Setting and raising engineering standards, and mentoring and growing the engineers around you • Partnering closely with other engineers, ML data scientists, and specialists to turn complex identity problems into working products, and driving cross-functional alignment with product and dependency teams • Building scalable, maintainable APIs and event-driven services that other teams and external customers depend on
