Role Description We invite a talented Intermediate Test Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to a large-scale blockchain-based platform for private markets. In this role, you’ll help ensure quality across the full testing lifecycle, combining test automation with validation of complex blockchain-based systems. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions and implementations. • Design, build, and maintain scalable systems for synthetic identities, test data seeding, mocking, load testing, and deterministic validation workflows. • Help evolve Affirm’s testing strategy from broad E2E-heavy validation toward a more scalable model with stronger component, integration, contract, performance, and targeted E2E testing. • Build platform capabilities that make production-like load testing safer, more repeatable, and easier to operate. • Improve our test platform so it is reliable, observable, and easier for other teams to adopt. • Partner with product engineering and infrastructure teams to improve test signal quality, reduce false failures, and support faster validation loops. • Lead medium-to-large technical projects from ambiguous problem definition through design, implementation, rollout, and operational ownership. • Improve reliability and operational maturity through dashboards, SLOs, alerts, runbooks, and clear ownership models. • Reduce manual operational load for load testing, including test data creation, environment setup, reporting, and failure diagnosis. • Write high-quality, maintainable code that can be easily understood and extended by others. • Contribute to technical specs, RFCs, ADRs, project plans, and other async artifacts that align teams around technical decisions. • Review code and technical designs, provide constructive feedback, and help raise engineering standards. • Mentor engineers and help build a culture of practical testing excellence.

Role Description Develop, design, and implement automated and manual testing to support e-commerce initiatives across multiple online properties. - Build automated front-end tests using Java with WebDriver and TestNG. - Build backend services tests using Groovy with JMeter, ReadyAPI, and API tools. - Contribute to enterprise-level test automation frameworks as needed. - Estimate testing efforts for strategy, design, and execution. - Monitor Splunk, Kafka producers, and consumers. - Document, report, and escalate test results and defects. - Use Bamboo, Maven, Git, and Stash for continuous integration and version control of automation artifacts. - Create and execute SQL queries and validate databases using automation tools. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, foreign equivalent, or higher in Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Five (5) years of progressive experience in Technology, Software Engineering, or related occupation. Requirements - Progressive experience in designing, developing, and implementing automated testing frameworks and scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG. - Utilizing JavaScript and Cucumber for BDD. - Delivering accurate estimates for test strategy, design, and execution work. - Developing API automation tests using REST Assured, Postman, ReadyAPI with Groovy scripting. - Using JMeter for performance testing. - Performing database validation using SQL and NoSQL database queries including Couchbase. - Managing continuous CI automation pipelines using Bamboo, Maven, Git, and Stash. - Working with cloud-based web applications architecture. - Evaluating code bottlenecks with Splunk monitoring tool. - Validating message integrity and sequence to confirm accurate and ordered delivery between producers and consumers using Kafka. - Designing and developing automated performance scripts for load testing backend APIs and Enterprise level UI Applications using performance testing tools NeoLoad, HP Load Runner, and Apache JMeter.
