The role operates within a statewide regulatory framework responsible for protecting the health, safety, and rights of residents in assisted living settings. It manages survey operations, reviews and validates survey findings, and contributes to licensing decisions through structured monitoring and quality assurance processes. This position supports collaboration with facilities, County Departments of Social Services, and other partners by offering technical assistance and coordinating regulatory activities. The Adult Care Licensure Team Supervisor position will be home-based in the Eastern region of the state and applicants should reside in Wilson, Wayne, Greene, Nash, Halifax, Pitt, Craven, Bertie, Gates or contiguous counties.
