Job Requirements
- Current, active, and unencumbered State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Proven excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills leveraging evidence-based methodologies including but not limited to motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy
- Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and team skills
- Experience with or willingness to learn and adapt to virtual therapy delivery
- Proven deep understanding of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using electronic health record systems and engaging on multiple platforms

Please Note: This position is a part-time W2 role and is contingent upon contract award. All services will be conducted via secure video teleconference (VTC) using the VA WebEx platform. Tasks - Direct Patient Care: Provide direct patient contact via live virtual platforms, conducting individual or group-based yoga therapy sessions for Veterans enrolled in the Integrative Headache Clinic (IHC) in Neurology. - Tailored Instruction: Deliver sessions consisting of a maximum of 50 minutes of yoga therapy, which includes education on the benefits of yoga for headaches and instruction specific to the needs and abilities of the individual Veteran. - Clinical Documentation: Utilize provided VA equipment to input electronic medical record documentation, ensuring encounters are entered the same day as the visit and clinical notes are completed within 2 days of the visit. - Care Coordination (Admin): Be available to conduct direct patient care support activities, including virtual consultations with the Whole Health/IHC team, service planning meetings, and required VA training. - Patient Safety & Protocols: Verify Veteran locations and the presence of any other individuals at the start of each virtual session, facilitate yogic tools (breathwork, meditation, movement), and maintain strict patient confidentiality. Qualifications - Must be a graduate of a professional, accredited yoga therapy training program. - Hold a current certification through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).
