Fundraise Up

• Own the Billing product area roadmap, outcomes, and prioritization; define quarterly goals and success metrics. • Partner with Engineering to deliver resilient billing systems (accuracy, idempotency, retries, monitoring, incident response, and clear ownership boundaries). • Improve revenue protection and customer experience via dunning, failed payment recovery, refunds, and dispute/chargeback-related flows (as applicable). • Define and maintain billing domain documentation: data model, event flows, edge cases, and operational run-books. • Run discovery with internal teams (GTM & Product Analyst) and customers to uncover pain points and opportunities; turn insights into clear PRDs and delivery plans. • Establish and track core Billing KPIs (e.g., failed payment rate, recovery rate). • Drive antifraud strategy execution: define priorities and success metrics; partner with Eng/Data to ship realtime protections, monitoring/alerting, and fraud-response capabilities, and continuously improve rules based on observed patterns.

Job Requirements

  • 4–7 years of product management experience with at least 1–2 years owning a technically complex domain.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing, payouts, fee models, refunds/chargebacks, multi-processor setups, and reconciliation.
  • Proven ability to work with engineers on backend/system design trade-offs and to ship reliable platform capabilities.
  • Comfort with data: defining metrics, building a measurement plan, and using analysis to prioritize and evaluate impact.
  • Clear written communication and structured thinking; can turn ambiguity into executable plans.
  • High ownership, high discipline, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
