Our fellowship programs train high school and university students to lead real-world campaigns that create structural and behavioral change in their communities. How You’ll Make an Impact - Grants Systems Management - Track deadlines, cycles, and reporting requirements across a centralized platform and calendar. - Gather program data, metrics, and narrative inputs cross-departmentally to support proposal and report development. - Maintain and update the Grants Airtable, including funder profiles, submission histories, outcomes, and more. - Follow the documented Development Protocol for the grant process, identifying gaps or improvements as needed. - Fundraising Operations - Maintain accurate, up-to-date donor records, including processing incoming gifts, and conduct routine data hygiene and reconciliation. - Generate reports, segments, contact lists, etc., to support fundraising and stewardship efforts and planning. - Support the management of the Development Airtables and assist with data imports into HubSpot. - Draft templates and workflows to standardize recurring fundraising processes and maintain related protocol documentation. - Donor and Stewardship Support - Support execution of annual fund campaigns, including planning, scheduling, and tracking performance and outcomes. - Coordinate logistics for stewardship touch points, including tax receipts, annual giving statements, thank-you videos, holiday cards, etc. - Support production of stewardship assets, including collateral for events and campaigns, donor communications, etc. - Monitor movement news and updates relevant to current donors, flagging timely engagement opportunities. What We’re Looking For Required Skills & Experience - 2+ years of progressive experience in non-profit fundraising, development operations, or advancement. - Experienced in project management, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines. - Works confidently across CRMs, gift processing, reporting, and analytics platforms (HubSpot and Airtable experience is a plus). - Maintains a high level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to data integrity. - Communicates clearly and effectively, in writing and verbally, cross-departmentally and externally. Compensation and Benefits This is a full-time, remote position with a salary of $71,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, and unlimited PTO. Role Description The CGIAR Digital Transformation Accelerator (DT-A) leverages digital technologies, artificial intelligence, data science, and innovation to accelerate transformation of food, land, and water systems. To effectively monitor progress, assess outcomes and impacts, support adaptive management, and generate actionable learning, the DT-A requires technical support to design, develop, operationalize, and strengthen a comprehensive Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) system. The MEL system will support performance tracking across DT-A Areas of Work (AoWs), ensure accountability to stakeholders and donors, and facilitate evidence-based decision-making. MEL activities will be conducted at both the Accelerator and AoW levels, with a focus on harmonizing approaches across pooled and bilateral funding streams. The assignment objective is to develop and support the implementation of a best-in-class MEL system that is responsive to the entrepreneurial and adaptive nature of the DT-A, supporting performance management, accountability, learning, and evidence-based decision-making while capturing the emergence, testing, scaling, and adoption of digital innovations across food, land, and water systems. - Activity 1 – Review of the DT-A Design Document and Theory of Change (Weeks 1–4): - Define MEL objectives in consultation with the DTA Director, CGIAR partners, and selected stakeholders. - Review and refine the Theory of Change (ToC), identifying intermediate outcomes and assumptions. - Review the key results framework to ensure logical alignment. - Identify critical learning priorities and evidence needs. - Activity 2 – Develop the MEL Framework (Weeks 5–12): - Develop a comprehensive MEL framework articulating results pathways, indicators, data sources, responsibilities, and reporting mechanisms. - Formulate key learning questions. - Design approaches for capturing planned and emerging outcomes. - Recommend innovative methods and digital/AI-enabled tools for data collection and reporting. - Establish mechanisms for tracking and documenting partner contributions across the results chain. - Activity 3 – Implementation Support and MEL System Operationalization (Week 13 onwards): - Develop templates, guidelines, and SOPs for consistent data collection and reporting. - Support configuration and deployment of digital MEL platforms, dashboards, and AI-enabled analytics tools. - Establish data quality assurance and verification mechanisms. - Facilitate periodic reflection and learning sessions. - Provide technical advice on approaches for capturing innovation and systems change. - Support preparation of periodic performance reports, learning products, and knowledge-sharing materials.
