Fleet Manager
Jetson
We're hiring a Fleet Manager to serve as the operational backbone of our field presence across North America. As we aggressively scale our installation capacity in 2026, you will own the end-to-end management of our vehicle fleet—ensuring our operators have reliable, well-maintained vehicles that enable them to deliver exceptional service to customers every single day. This role isn't just about keeping vehicles on the road; it's about building a fleet management system that scales with our growth while optimizing for cost, safety, and operational excellence. Own the complete fleet lifecycle from procurement and deployment through maintenance, replacement, and disposal across all Jetson markets Build and scale fleet management processes, vendor relationships, and maintenance programs that support rapid geographic expansion while maintaining consistent standards Develop and monitor KPIs for fleet performance including vehicle utilization, maintenance costs, fuel/charging efficiency, safety incidents, and downtime Partner with stakeholders to forecast fleet needs based on installation volume, technician headcount, and market expansion plans Establish preventive maintenance schedules and vendor networks to minimize vehicle downtime and maximize technician productivity Implement fleet safety programs, driver training protocols, and compliance frameworks that meet local, state, and federal regulations Manage fleet budget and identify opportunities for cost optimization through strategic purchasing, fuel programs, insurance negotiations, and lifecycle planning
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years managing vehicle fleets across dispersed geographies, preferably in service, logistics, or field operations environments
- Proven track record managing fleet budgets and delivering cost efficiency improvements
- Experience with fleet management systems, telematics platforms, and data-driven decision making
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, vehicle safety standards, and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience in compliance-heavy or regulated environments
- Proven ability to build scalable processes and documentation
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple markets simultaneously
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
- Travel required up to 30%
