Trainee Technical Support Manager

• Support Technical Support Managers with day-to-day workload, technical queries, and project activities • Provide key support to the Technical Office to develop strong foundational product and system knowledge • Work independently and collaboratively across teams to support business objectives • Assist in the Training Academy • Develop understanding of architectural and structural engineer drawings • Develop knowledge around BS8102:2022 and gain CSSW qualification • Develop knowledge around BS8485:2019+A1:2019 and attend PCA course for ground gas protection • Develop knowledge around BR211:2023 and attend the Radon Council Course • Develop a full understanding of DPC guidance and attend any relevant courses • Develop a full understanding of NHBC guidance in relation to our areas of expertise • Develop a full understanding of building regulations in relation to our areas of expertise
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or a related industry is desirable
- A strong interest in developing a technical and commercial career
- Willingness to undertake professional qualifications and external training
- Basic understanding of construction drawings or a willingness to learn
- Commercial awareness or interest in developing business understanding
- Full UK driving licence

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, installation, and relocation of multifunction printers and computer equipment. • Provide on-site service and, when necessary, remote support (Remote Hands). • Ensure SLAs are met by logging and tracking service tickets until completion. • Document service calls, collecting evidence, photographic records, and customer approval. • Escalate to Level 3 support for analysis and parts requests when necessary. • Manage parts inventory, backup equipment, and reverse logistics. • Manage travel expenses and reconcile them according to company policies. • Maintain the condition of equipment and the vehicle used for activities, following internal procedures. • Participate in technical training and communicate any impediments to the management team.
