Role Description As a Senior Parabroker, you will bridge the gap between technical credit analysis and end-to-end file management, taking complete ownership of applications from initial assessment through to submission and settlement support. Designed for a commercial thinker who thrives with minimal supervision, this position allows our onshore brokers to focus entirely on growth while you manage the end-to-end technical execution of each loan. Responsibilities - End-to-End File Management: Lead residential loan applications from the initial file assessment phase directly through to submission, condition management, and final settlement support. - Document Review & Verification: Conduct thorough reviews of client compliance documents and proactively identify any outstanding requirements. - Credit & Policy Analysis: Analyze client income, existing liabilities, serviceability constraints, and evolving lender policies. - Scenario Structuring: Design and structure complex lending scenarios across diverse applicant types, including PAYG, self-employed, company, trust, and SMSF borrowers. - Lender & Product Strategy: Formulate lending strategies and recommend suitable products by critically comparing lender policies, pricing structures, turnaround times, and overall suitability. - Application Packaging: Prepare comprehensive, high-quality submission notes, draft credit papers, and package flawless loan applications for submission. - Stakeholder Liaising: Serve as a central point of contact to coordinate with lenders, BDMs, and internal broker support teams to resolve file reworks and track progress. - Diverse Lending Scenarios: Seamlessly assist with specialized files, including refinances, debt consolidation, investment lending, and business purpose lending scenarios. Qualifications - Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of dedicated Australian mortgage broking experience in a Para-Broker, Senior Loan Processor, or Broker Support role. - Lifecycle Competency: Proven track record managing complex files fully from the initial client enquiry stage all the way through to settlement. - Policy Knowledge: Deep, working knowledge of the Australian lending policy landscape. - Complex Structures: Direct experience analyzing and structuring complex files involving Self-Employed lending, SMSF lending, Trusts & Companies, Refinances, PAYG applications, and Business lending. - Operational Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, extreme attention to detail, and the organizational capacity to drive multiple active files simultaneously.
