Government & Market Strategy Manager

Role Description As Government & Market Strategy Manager, you'll lead our client's market expansion in Poland, owning government relations, regulatory strategy, and market development while serving as the company's senior representative in the country. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring deep knowledge of the Polish political and regulatory landscape, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to shape long-term market strategy. As the business grows, you'll have the opportunity to build and lead the local team. - Build and maintain strategic relationships with government bodies, regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders across Poland. - Monitor political, regulatory, and legislative developments affecting the business. - Represent the company with public institutions, industry associations, and strategic partners. - Develop and execute the company's market entry and growth strategy for Poland. - Analyze market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and regulatory risks. - Support commercial partnerships and business development initiatives. - Advise senior leadership on market trends, public policy, and strategic opportunities. - Build and lead the local organization as operations expand. - Drive collaboration between headquarters and local stakeholders to ensure successful market execution. Qualifications - Proven experience in Government Relations, Public Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Public Policy, or Market Strategy within Poland. - Deep understanding of the Polish political, regulatory, and business landscape. - Strong network across Polish government institutions, regulators, and public-sector stakeholders. - Track record of leading market entry, expansion, or strategic growth initiatives. - Experience working in fast-growing, international organizations. - Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking. - Outstanding stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills. - Ability to operate independently in a high-autonomy leadership role. - Fluency in Polish and English. Requirements - Background in defence, aerospace, security, energy, mobility, fintech, or other highly regulated industries. - Experience establishing a government relations function from scratch. - Military background or experience working closely with defence organizations. - Legal or public policy background.
