• Define and lead the technical vision, roadmap, and standards for NBCU’s digital workplace platforms across collaboration, endpoints, and AI. • Own the end-to-end architecture for Workplace Technology Engineering, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance requirements. • Serve as a technical authority for complex system design, scalability, and long-term platform evolution. • Lead design and engineering of enterprise workplace services, including: Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online) • Ensure platforms deliver high availability, performance, and security, while reducing operational overhead through automation and standardization. • Drive global consistency across workplace technologies supporting hybrid work environments. • Partner with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases across NBCU. • Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles across workplace platforms. • Act as a senior technical leader and mentor across WTE engineering teams. • Lead architecture reviews, engineering design boards, and technical decision-making forums.

• Design and build features end-to-end: PostgreSQL schema and migrations, Hibernate/JPA entities, Spring Boot REST APIs, and the webapps that consume them. • Tune complex queries against a large, normalized pharmaceutical data model. • Maintain a high bar for developer experience and champion technical excellence. • Review code and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback during code reviews. • Own the full software development lifecycle – from ideation and design to deployment and monitoring in Datadog. • Contribute to ShortageCheck's product architecture and roadmap, helping align overlapping initiatives across CostCheck and ShortageCheck so the two platforms grow together. • Provide compassionate technical mentorship and pairing opportunities. • Push our AI-assisted workflows forward — build skills, refine prompts, and help the team get more out of Claude Code. • Stay updated with industry trends and integrate emerging technologies.

• Build web services using Ruby on Rails and Python FastAPI • Regularly deploy your work via Infrastructure as Code with Terraform. • Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from ideation and design to deployment and monitoring. • Ensure application performance, security, and scalability meet the highest standards. • Create comprehensive unit and integration tests to maintain code quality and reliability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Lead code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and champion best practices. • Funnel Optimization: Design, build, and scale registration workflows, secure checkout systems, and friction-free donation architectures across highly trafficked web and mobile applications. • Onboarding & Acquisition: Develop and iterate on personalized user onboarding experiences and automated marketing messaging layers to boost reader activation and conversion yields. • Experimentation & A/B Testing: Plan, build, and programmatically deploy A/B and multivariate experiments to isolate performance drivers across the customer journey. • Subscription Engine Integration: Configure and seamlessly integrate enterprise subscription/paywall frameworks (**Zephr**) and Customer Data Platforms (**BlueConic**) to manage user entitlement logic and content gate segmentations. • API & Systems Connectivity: Build, secure, and maintain custom APIs and external microservices integrations that handle subscriber transaction processing and core growth features. • Personalization & Predictive Logic: Deploy next-best-action models and data pipelines to deliver contextually relevant messages and engagement triggers to readers at peak engagement windows. • Data-Driven Feature Execution: Audit behavioral drop-off points, closely monitor checkout health metrics, and collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams to engineer long-term solutions.
