Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Dental Scheduler/Verifier to join our front office client team in a full-time capacity. This role is central to the smooth daily operation of the practice, responsible for managing patient scheduling, verifying dental insurance eligibility, and ensuring accurate data entry within the practice management system. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in dental front office operations and is committed to delivering a professional, welcoming experience for every patient. Key Responsibilities - Utilize Eaglesoft dental practice management software daily to enter and maintain patient data, manage appointment schedules, and navigate administrative backend functions with accuracy and efficiency. - Perform insurance eligibility checks and verifications prior to patient appointments, ensuring coverage details are confirmed and documented in a timely manner. - Review and interpret dental insurance plans, including benefits, limitations, and coverage tiers, to accurately communicate plan details to patients in a clear and accessible manner. - Process and coordinate insurance-related tasks including pre-authorizations, claims preparation support, and benefit explanations for patients. - Manage the appointment schedule for providers, optimizing daily flow by booking, confirming, rescheduling, and following up on patient appointments. - Serve as a primary point of contact for patient inquiries via phone and other communication channels, handling questions related to scheduling, insurance, and general practice information with professionalism and care. - Support front desk operations as needed, maintaining organized workflows and contributing to a positive patient experience from first contact through appointment completion. - Communicate fluently in both English and Spanish to serve the full scope of the patient population effectively. Qualifications - Hands-on, demonstrated experience with Eaglesoft dental practice management software — this is a non-negotiable requirement. - Solid working knowledge of dental insurance plans, including eligibility verification processes, benefit structures, pre-authorization procedures, and claims workflows. - Prior experience in a dental front office or patient-facing administrative role. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain insurance and scheduling information clearly to patients of varying backgrounds. - Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written). - Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment. - Professional, courteous demeanor with a patient-first approach to all interactions. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with dental insurance credentialing or coordination of benefits. - Familiarity with additional dental practice management systems beyond Eaglesoft. - Prior experience in a multi-provider dental practice. - Knowledge of common dental terminology and procedure codes (CDT codes). Schedule - Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time. - Employment Type: Full-Time.
