Role Description Als Senior Datenbankadministrator übernimmst du die Verantwortung für Planung, Betrieb und Weiterentwicklung unserer Datenbanklandschaft mit Schwerpunkt auf PostgreSQL und Oracle. Du stellst eine hohe Performance, Verfügbarkeit, Sicherheit sowie weitreichende Automatisierung sicher – unabhängig davon, ob die Systeme on‑premises, in der Cloud oder in hybriden Umgebungen laufen. Dabei arbeitest du proaktiv und lösungsorientiert und stimmst dich eng mit Entwicklung, Betrieb und den Fachbereichen ab, um einen reibungslosen und stabilen Datenbankbetrieb zu gewährleisten. - Administration, Konfiguration und Upgrades von PostgreSQL‑ und Oracle‑Datenbanken inkl. Backup & Recovery. - Performance‑Analysen und ‑Optimierung (z. B. Execution Plans, Indexing, Bloat‑ & Lock‑Management, Wait‑Events). - Aufbau und Betrieb von Hochverfügbarkeits‑ und Replikationslösungen (PostgreSQL: Streaming Replication/Patroni; Oracle: Data Guard/HAS). - Patching, Security‑Maßnahmen (z. B. TDE, Hardening, Auditing) und Durchführung von Recovery‑Tests. - Monitoring, Kapazitäts‑ und Storage‑Management sowie SLA‑ und Health‑Reporting. - Automatisierung per Shell/Python/Ansible und Erstellung tragfähiger Dokumentation (Runbooks, Playbooks, Post‑Mortems). Qualifications - Mehrjährige Erfahrung (5+ Jahre) als Datenbankadministrator in Enterprise‑Umgebungen, mit tiefem Know‑how in PostgreSQL und Oracle. - Sicherer Umgang mit Administration, Upgrades, Patching, Backup/Recovery und Performance‑Analysen (z. B. Explain/Analyze, AWR/ASH). - Erfahrung mit HA‑ und Replikationslösungen wie Data Guard, HAS, Streaming Replication oder Patroni. - Vertraut mit Monitoring (CheckMK), Storage/Tablespace‑Management, Kapazitätsplanung und strukturiertem Incident‑Handling. - Kompetenzen in Automatisierung (Shell, Python, idealerweise Ansible) sowie Grundkenntnisse in Security & Compliance. - Erfahrung mit Oracle AQ (Advanced Queuing), Lesen/Programmieren von PL/SQL sowie dem Einsatz von Oracle GoldenGate für Replikation und Datenintegration wünschenswert. - Fließende Deutsch- und sehr gute Englischkenntnisse.
