Creative Audio Engineer

• Own the end to end audio workflow, from raw recordings to final mastered outputs • Perform professional editing, cleanup, restoration, mix, and mastering across dialogue, voice, and sound assets • Curate, clean, annotate, and structure high quality audio datasets for AI voice model training • Train, operate, and iterate on AI voice models across text to speech and voice to voice systems • Evaluate model outputs critically and refine datasets, prompts, and processing to improve voice quality • Act as the audio quality gatekeeper, ensuring consistency, clarity, and realism across all deliverables • Collaborate closely with AI engineers, developers, and creative teams to align technical outputs with creative intent • Define and document audio standards, workflows, and best practices • Troubleshoot complex audio and pipeline issues across different tools and formats • Stay current with emerging audio, voice AI, and production technologies and contribute to R&D efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Strong background as a professional audio engineer in film / post-production
  • Deep hands on experience with Pro Tools or Reaper
  • Strong holistic understanding and skill in usage of Izotope RX
  • Strong understanding of and ability to read spectograms
  • Strong ability to restore damaged and sub-optimal audio
  • Solid understanding of gain staging, loudness standards, and broadcast delivery specs
  • Strong knowledge of EQ, compression, dynamics and mastering practices
  • Clear understanding of audio formats, sample rates, bit depth, and codecs
  • Proven experience and skill cleaning and preparing audio for broadcast and film including noise reduction and forensic artifact removal
  • Technical mindset with the ability to learn and operate AI driven audio tools
  • Extreme attention to detail and strong critical listening skills
  • Comfortable working in iterative pipelines with versioning and feedback loops
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across creative and technical teams.
