• Own communication with stakeholders and other teams, structure requirements, set priorities, and assure delivery commitments. • Manage the team effectively, understanding each member’s strengths and weaknesses, and assign tasks based on their abilities and development goals. • Own team capacity planning—tracking load, forecasting needs, and ensuring new hires, processes and tools are in place before capacity becomes a bottleneck. • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and implement measures to improve team performance as needed.
Job Requirements
- Experience facilitating performance reviews, feedback sessions, and professional development planning.
- Experience conducting code reviews focused on maintaining quality and supporting engineers’ growth.
- Proven experience participating in hiring and interviews to help build strong, well-balanced teams.
- Understanding of Linux system.
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Ability to design and oversee the architecture of software systems, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Decent level of written and spoken English to work in an international environment.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in real-time development with sub-microsecond latency.
- Experience in HFT, telecommunication, game development, or any other field that works with limited resources and optimization.
- Solid understanding of modern C++ development and engineering processes.
- Knowledge of networks and interaction protocols.
- Proficient in using version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
