Team Leader II, Low Balance – Physician

• Provides direction on inventory to team members, daily. • Monitors inventory backlog, reviews reports (timely filing, aging, other) to ensure compliance with client protocols. • Reviews and summarizes accounts up to a designated amount for closure based on standard operating procedure for each client. • Conducts one-on-one meetings, monthly to provide coaching and mentoring to team members. • Retrieves and analyze reports relating to inventory workflow to ensure the correct accounts are being worked on by team members. • Escalates complex, complicated, or challenging accounts to management to ensure accounts are progressing effectively.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience working for Knowtion Health or a hospital, physician practice, payer, RCM vendor, or in a customer service role.
- An understanding of debt collection rules and regulations.
- Adherence to HIPAA requirements.
- Advanced computer proficiency including working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills to ensure proper inventory management, timely follow-up and accurate record keeping.
- Ability to read and interpret an extensive variety of documents such as contracts, claims, patient medical records, inpatient/outpatient discharge summaries and reports, instructions, policies, and procedures in written (English) and diagram form.
