VP, Commercial Sales
Sonova
• Define and execute the commercial sales strategy across the United States, ensuring delivery of revenue, contribution margin, and market share objectives. • Play a critical role in strengthening competitive position, building high-performing teams, and shaping the future of commercial organization. • Develop and execute the U.S. commercial sales strategy aligned with broader company objectives. • Ensure a market-driven, customer-centric and growth-focused approach across all channels and brands. • Drive commercial excellence and create sustainable competitive advantage. • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing national sales organization. • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. • Build strong succession plans and proactively develop top talent pipelines. • Own revenue and contribution margin targets. • Set clear KPIs and monitor performance to ensure consistent delivery. • Drive accurate forecasting, reporting and disciplined execution of commercial initiatives. • Ensure effective implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns to accelerate growth. • Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Commercial Excellence and Global Key Accounts. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors and healthcare providers. • Manage the U.S. sales budget and ensure effective allocation of resources.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive commercial sales leadership experience, ideally within healthcare, medical devices, distribution, or consumer technology.
- Proven track record of building, developing and leading high-performing sales organizations.
- Experience selling to business owners, including independent retailers (large and small).
- Strong financial acumen and P&L management experience.
- Ability to understand and influence customer economics and organizational impact.
- Experience designing and implementing organizational programs and processes to enhance customer effectiveness.
- Confident public speaker with experience presenting at conferences and executive forums.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare or related field (MBA preferred).
