• Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the company's overarching goals and objectives. • Oversee direction, strategic and tactical decision-making, and resource allocation to ensure effective, efficient, and successful achievement of objectives. • Develop strategic plans to ensure successful implementation and outcomes of action plans and objectives. • Direct and control the activities and projects of multiple functions through multiple levels of management. • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing data team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with applicable regulations. • Drive the development of advanced analytics and business intelligence capabilities to provide insights that inform strategic business decisions. • Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure data is effectively utilized across the organization. • Evaluate, implement, and manage data management and analytics technologies that enhance our data capabilities and efficiencies. • Present data strategies, insights, and progress to executive leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support across the organization. • Model the RBG Values and Ways of Working and set an example for tone and communication standards across the company. • Perform all other duties as assigned to meet team's objectives and ensure business operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in data management and analytics, with at least 7+ years of people management experience and leadership responsibility.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • In-depth understanding of data governance, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive business success.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in the travel or tourism industry is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple functions and departments.
  • Proven capability to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Experience in full ownership and responsibility over functional budgets to meet corporate and finance requirements.
