About the Role: We're looking for a Senior Product Manager for our Flex Pay vertical. Flex Pay by Upgrade is a fast-growing Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solution helping merchants drive conversion, increase average order value, and create seamless financing experiences for consumers. We partner with leading travel and, retail and e-commerce brands to deliver flexible payment solutions that support growth for both merchants and shoppers In this pivotal role, you'll own and drive key initiatives that will deepen Upgrade’s integration with merchants in order to enhance the partner and customer experience and drive growth. The role is perfect for those who are self-motivated and excel in an agile environment. You’ll be responsible for leading and collaborating with designers, engineers, marketers, and key partners to deliver impactful, measurable outcomes. This is a role in hybrid capacity based in our downtown San Francisco office, with onsite work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. What You’ll Do: - Lead product development for Upgrade's Flex Pay business by enhancing partner satisfaction and customer experience - Focus on expanding and deepening Flex Pay's integration with various merchant partners and intermediaries - Be responsible for executing complex initiatives from inception through to the ongoing optimization of established features and user experiences - Develop trusted internal and external partnerships, especially with Engineering and key third-party partners, to effectively utilize their input to inform product planning and execution - Independently drive and ideate on new roadmap items, showcasing creativity and innovation with a high level of trust from the management team What We Look For: - 5+ years of product management experience focused on delivering high-quality outcomes and user value - Expertise in product development ideally a combination of complex third party APIs, integration, web analytics, A/B testing, and SQL - A history of successful product delivery particularly in consumer-facing platforms and innovative fintech space. Experience in the travel industry is helpful but not required - Demonstrated ability to lead teams, ensuring alignment and effectively resolving conflicts across organizational stakeholders - Familiarity with AI coding and productivity tools such as Claude or Gemini.
