Business Analyst Employee Type: Contract Location: Tampa, FL, US Pay Range: $60 - $66 per hour Job#: 3037956 Job Description: Business Analyst Location: Tampa, Florida (Partial Remote) Role Overview This role is central to a large-scale, public-cloud-focused program that modernizes applications across daily operations, financial platforms, and core business applications. The position requires a professional who can track, report on, and communicate the progress of the entire portfolio of work related to the cloud strategy. The ideal candidate will provide a holistic understanding of cloud initiatives, create reports and presentations on successes and challenges, and function as a blend of a Business Analyst and Project Manager, similar to an Agile Portfolio Manager. Key Responsibilities - Drive execution against the cloud modernization roadmap. - Increase organizational transparency and adoption of cloud initiatives. - Map and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes for applications moving to AWS. - Support the execution of the cloud modernization roadmap through process clarity and dependency management. - Partner with IT, engineering, security, finance, and operations to ensure aligned workflows. - Create and maintain process artifacts, standards, and playbooks. - Develop dashboards to report on progress, successes, and areas for improvement. - Translate technical achievements into business outcomes and value for stakeholders. Required Qualifications - Experience with basic business intelligence dashboarding. - Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations. - Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and public cloud environments, specifically AWS. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - A background that combines Business Analysis and Project Management. - Experience documenting complex enterprise workflows. - Ability to operate effectively between business and technical teams.
