Job Description

DCX Labor Relations Specialist

Delegate CX

• Manages and oversees the entire disciplinary process, particularly in termination cases, including investigations, documentation, and communication with employees and relevant stakeholders. • Ensures consistency and fairness in applying disciplinary policies and procedures. • Advises leaders on appropriate disciplinary measures based on the severity of the violation and applicable laws or regulations. • Monitors and addresses instances of unauthorized absence without leave (AWOL) by employees. • Initiates appropriate actions to resolve AWOL cases in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. • Communicates with employees and their supervisors to gather information and determine the appropriate course of action. • Maintains accurate records of AWOL incidents, actions taken, and outcomes. • Manages the process of dismissing displaced employees due to authorized and just causes. • Coordinates with relevant departments to ensure smooth transition and adherence to applicable labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and internal policies. • Provides support and guidance to affected employees during the transition period. • Collaborates with managers and supervisors to develop and implement performance improvement plans (PIPs) for underperforming employees. • Monitors the progress of PIPs, provides guidance and support to employees, and assesses their compliance with established goals and objectives. • Serves as a point of contact for employees with labor relations concerns and grievances for Rank-and-File employees • Conduct investigations, gather relevant information, and analyze complaints or issues raised by employees.

Job Requirements

  • A degree in Communication, Human Resources or Psychology required
  • 3+ years of professional Human Resources experience
  • 1-3 years of professional Labor Relations experience
  • Highly proficient communicator in both spoken and written English
  • A strong multitasker
  • Highly organized and accurate with detailing information
  • Proven history of accomplishing tasks on a strict deadline
  • Executes tasks and listens to guidance
  • A team player
  • Highly flexible within the realm of HR
