Secondary Art Teacher
Connections Academy
• Manage instructional programs and support students virtually • Complete grading, create progress reports, and conduct parent conferences • Support the instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing and synchronous instruction • Review curriculum and present lessons to increase student understanding • Communicate with parents, students, and other teachers regularly • Develop Personal Learning Plans and schedules for students • Keep student records and data up-to-date • Manage and coordinate field trips and social activities for students • Participate in organization of State Testing and proctoring • Attend training sessions and team building activities throughout the year • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Highly qualified and certified to teach Art in Missouri
- Experience with Professional Learning Communities
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Customer focused approach
- High degree of flexibility
- Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment
- Team player track record
- Willingness to travel on occasion for marketing and state testing events
- Ability to work remotely, if necessary
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
