Associate, HVAC Data Centers
Jaros, Baum & Bolles
• Lead MEP design teams for both greenfield and retrofit data center projects • Define HVAC technical requirements and coordinate with plumbing, electrical, and fire protection teams • Develop and refine office design standards for the Data Center and Mission Critical sectors • Collaborate across disciplines to create integrated technical solutions • Coordinate with Energy Modeling teams to optimize for energy efficiency and carbon reduction while maintaining 7x24 reliability • Provide technical guidance to internal and third-party commissioning teams • Represent JB&B at industry events, conferences, and seminars to build brand recognition • Travel to client and project sites across the U.S.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience in facility design and construction environments
- Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of data center HVAC, standby generation and associated fuel oil systems
- Experience with Revit
- Professional Engineering (PE) license, preferred
- Experience with Chiller, Cooling Towers, AHU, Heat Pumps and Generator designs
- Experience with energy modeling
- Experience process water flushing and treatment.
- Experience with Building Controls Systems
- Understanding of ASHRAE 90.1,90.4 and TC 9.9 publications

• Facilitate the initiation of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements • Deliver site start-up and activation work to a high standard, working closely with your team and stakeholders • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents, such as clinical trial applications and ethics committee submissions • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and authorizations for study initiation • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of regulatory submissions and approvals • Support study teams in the development of study documents, including protocols, informed consent forms, and investigator brochures • Participate in study start-up meetings and provide input on regulatory requirements and timelines
