Senior Associate, Cost Segregation

Cadencia

• Manage multiple cost segregation projects simultaneously with efficiency and accuracy • Conduct site visits and inspections of subject properties • Review and analyze architectural and construction documents • Develop asset schedules and determine appropriate tax treatment in accordance with IRS guidelines • Communicate project status and findings with both internal team members and external stakeholders • Prepare and present detailed cost segregation reports to clients • Ensure all work adheres to the highest professional standards and client confidentiality • Deliver high-quality client service that meets or exceeds expectations

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience performing cost segregation studies.
  • Strong understanding of federal tax depreciation rules and IRS cost recovery regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25-30% for client site visits
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field
