Role Description *** This position is contingent upon contract award *** SOSi is seeking an Ontologist to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer. The primary objective of the program is to bridge the operational gaps between DoD, IC, interagency, and non-traditional international partners to enable real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-tailored analytical capabilities. - Develop, refine, and maintain domain-specific ontologies to support structured data integration, semantic search, and AI-assisted decision support. - Enforce adherence to W3C standards and metadata alignment between Databricks Unity Catalog, GIS metadata systems, and operational data stores. - Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure ontology-driven tagging and entity resolution enhances the relevance of research outputs. - Submit the Ontology Governance & Standardization Report, detailing ontology updates, integrations, and compliance with metadata standards. Qualifications - Master’s degree or higher (e.g., Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Information Science, Artificial Intelligence, Geospatial Science, GIS, Data Science, Business Analytics, Cognitive Science, or a closely related field; OR a minimum of 11+ years of experience in ontology development, semantic technologies. - Possess the knowledge and capability to develop ontologies: - Proficiency in writing advanced SPARQL queries. - Strong skills in the W3C Web Ontology Language (OWL). - Solid understanding of Basic Formal Ontology (BFO) and Common Core Ontologies (CCO). - Proficiency in both Java and Python for ontology-driven application development. - Experience with Bash scripting for automation tasks. - Hands-on experience with ESRI data tools, including ArcGIS. - Background in DevSecOps practices, version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively. - Demonstrated expertise in ontology design, semantic data modeling, and SPARQL query development, with proficiency in W3C standards (RDF, OWL, SHACL) and supporting frameworks like Basic Formal Ontology (BFO) and Common Core Ontologies (CCO). • Identify constraints to flow that will be used to develop improvement and mitigation plans for improved on time delivery from suppliers • Active participant in cross-functional supplier performance reviews, and Co-lead with our customers and Supplier Development Leaders on the respective Supplier Business Reviews and Rate Readiness Reviews. • Lead/ co-lead Production meetings with Suppliers. • Acquire a vision of the big picture and understand that enhancing operational effectiveness is key to organizational business performance. • Drive for results, consistently pursuing continued ways to accomplish goals and objectives that require your extraordinary determination, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills to satisfy our customers’ needs. • Develop a strong understanding of the products and the operational processes they go through at the suppliers you will be working with. • Ability to generate and gain opportunities to break functional, operational, & logistical barriers faced with getting products out the door. • Reveal and work to remove barriers to business goals specific to the on-time delivery of parts. • Effectively driving tasks/projects to completion which include but are not limited to: Leading Indicator data collection and gap review, material coverage and tracking, facilitating quality notification communication and closures, and sub-tier management assistance. • Communicate across leadership levels within company and supply base. • Build and maintain relationships with various partners, customers, and suppliers. • Manage multiple projects and interact with several departments and various levels of management simultaneously. • Lead, manage, and/or assist with process improvement projects. • Through the rigorous use of change management disciplines, drive initiatives, processes, and CORE throughout the business and across the supply chain. • Utilizes project management approach and process improvement discipline to lead projects according to plan, including identifying and mitigating project risks. • Gather feedback and work to identify new improvement opportunities in conjunction with Supplier Development Leaders. • Must be able to travel up to 80% of your time within the Northeast region • On-site at suppliers 80% of your time • 20% of the time working from home

• Provide ongoing, prompt and accurate fiscal assistance to Head Start (HS) and Early Head Start (EHS) grantees • Support Federal staff with high quality grants management services • Prepare and track grants through review and funding processes • Monitor receipt and accuracy of grant documents • Monitor fiscal performance of grantees, evaluation of required fiscal reports • Prepare grant closeouts

• Prepare and release patient records to authorized parties, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations. • Handle inbound calls and inquiries from departments, patients, and third parties; log requests in EHR system. • Respond to requests professionally and promptly via phone, email, or fax. • Verify recipient identity and authority; prepare records as per request specifications. • Review released information for compliance with laws and policies; maintain confidentiality. • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations; assist in training new staff. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
